Heroin Hurts

There are two options, one of which you must choose and comply with in order to maintain services at Woodman Primary Care.

OPTION 1 - You will attend weekly group therapy either from 12:30-1:30pm or 5:00-6:00pm every Tuesday. Additionally you will be required to attend individual therapy. How often you attend individual therapy will be decided between you and your therapist during your initial sessions.

OPTION 2 - This is the program as it currently exists. Where you are required to attend group three times a week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 12:30-1:30pm. Individual sessions will be on an as needed basis. This option is available to those already in our current program and wish to maintain their level of treatment as well as those that feel they need additional therapeutic time in order to maintain their sobriety.

If you are not succeeding with option 1, option 2 might be made mandatory if you wish to stay in the program.

Please remember that you are required to attend all sessions related to the option you choose. We firmly believe that therapeutic intervention is needed along with medical intervention to maintain a healthy sobriety. Beyond us the state has set forth regulations requiring therapy and most insurance companies as well will not authorize your medication without compliance to therapy.

If you were to choose option 2 and your situation were to change, such as employment where as you are no longer able to attend the more intensive treatment, you are able to change to option 1. However you must let your therapist know that you need to change your program before the change can occur.
